Drive Options

Manual Operation
The manual drive is the maintenance-free, readily available and ecconomical solution for smaller and lighter shelving units (max 2000kg). Thanks to easy movement rollers, high precision runners and ergonomically designed handles, these shelving units can be moved effortlessly.
Mechanical Operation
With extra power for easy movement of several shelf units at one time, the mechanical drive is the ideal solution for medium to heavy duty loads. Using our standard demultiplication ratios of 1:1500 or 1:3000 to the shelf load, it is possible to move several heavily laden bays effortlessly.
Electrical Operation

For large or heavy shelf units or where frequent access is needed. Controls at the front of the bay to open the desired aisle immediately. All bays, which must be moved out of the way start moving simultaneously. Every shelving unit has its own motor which starts and stops smoothly. Safety mechanisms and EMERGENCY push button cutout are incorporated to avoid injury.
Mediatek™ mobile shelving runners can be surface mounted or fitted below floor level. Runners are secured and adjusted using a levelling bracket, there is no drilling or screwing into the runner itself. This does away with ugly visible screws and damage that can affect the appearance and optimum running of mobile bays.
The drive chain and anti-tilt mechanism are fitted within the runner, reducing the number of channels required for an installation.
When surface mounting runners, Bosco Mediatek™ mobile shelving units can be installed without damaging existing flooring.
